Research Interests:Mailce Borges Mota holds a PhD (Applied Linguistics, 2000) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. She is Associate Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at UFSC. Her research interests include (1) the neurocognition of second language acquisition and use and (2) individual differences in working memory capacity and L2 performance.
